Serialized inventory with IMEI validation and TAC identification
Every device is now tracked by serial and IMEI. IMEIs are checked for length, check digit, and uniqueness, and the TAC identifies the make and model.
Serialized inventory is the backbone of everything that happens after a sale. Claddio now records every device as its own asset, with a full status history from the moment it enters inventory.
IMEIs are validated as they're entered: 15 digits, a valid Luhn check digit, and no duplicates across the platform. The Type Allocation Code at the start of the IMEI is matched against a reviewed reference table to identify the device's make and model.
