Tax-exempt purchasing with exemption certificates
Tax-exempt organizations can upload their exemption certificate, and tax is calculated accordingly on their orders.
Schools, nonprofits, government agencies, and resellers often don't pay sales tax, but proving it usually means emailing a PDF and waiting for someone to adjust an invoice. Claddio now lets organizations upload their tax-exemption certificate directly.
Once a certificate is on file, tax calculation through Stripe Tax reflects the exemption on that organization's orders, and every tax calculation is recorded for reporting.
